Rainbow-Colored Communities: LGBT Same-Sex Marriage Rights

What can we say about the LGBT same-sex marriage issue?

The statement below somehow sums it all.

"I like red it's the color of an apple. Orange it's the color of an orange. Yellow, it's a lemon and a beautiful sun sun sun! Green, it's the color of the trees and lots of living things! And then there's blue for the sky! And purple that's a color that's fun fun fun! When you put these colors side by side. What do you think you've done? You've made a rainbow! And it's a really beautiful one!"

This is a very sensitive topic. But we are entitled to our own opinions, with no disrespect intended to either pro or con parties.

Man and woman together is a biological necessity and is an adherence to the natural order in the propagation of the human species. It is human sensibilities and the need for companionship that drives unions, conjugations and marriages, thus the confusion that plagues us all. Equality with heterosexuality was the cause of the movement, but is a deterrent to the natural order.

We think same sex marriage was just allowed to settle the legal status of couples pertaining to legal issues of property ownership. They can marry civilly but church wedding might not be possible. This is where the issue of separation of the church and state will apply. The church doctrine is firm on the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman.

The same way why divorce and annulment was created by law.

The four countries with the largest Catholic populations are Brazil, Mexico, The Philippines, and the US. All except for the Philippines have legalized same-sex marriage. Ireland who's population is even more Catholic by percentage than any of those also has legalized same-sex marriage, and the Pope's home country of Argentina has legalized same-sex marriage. Spain, also a predominantly Catholic country has legalized same-sex marriage.

The sky hasn't fallen.

Besides, nobody has the right to force their religious beliefs, emphasis on belief, on anyone else.

Marriage licenses are issued by the state, and ALL citizens are entitled to equal rights.

Leave religion out of it because there is such a thing as separation of church and state.

Judging people doesn't define who they are, it defines who you are. Judge less, understand more.

We have the choice. Its just a matter of living with it and not forcing either side's will over the other. Mutual respect should prevail as part of our claims as rational beings.
